Angel

Carolina Canines is pleased to announce the placement of our first specially trained service dog at Manorhouse Retirement Community, 2744 17th Street Extension in
Wilmington.

Angel, a 3 year old Yellow Labrador Retriever was rescued from Onslow County Animal Control and trained as a Facility Based Therapy Dog specifically for Manorhouse by Rick Hairston, Executive Director of Carolina Canines. The program also places service dogs with individuals with physical disabilities at no cost to the recipient to enhance their independence at home and in the community.
Angel now resides at Manorhouse where she freely roams the halls, visiting residents and staff, bringing unconditional love and joy to all whom she encounters. The residents and staff of Manorhouse agree that Angel has made a big difference in the lives of those who live at Manorhouse and truly lives up to her name!
